The existing mews dwelling sits within the Cadogan Square Conservation Area in a terrace of two and three storey traditional London mews houses. The property was rebuilt to create light, generous, air conditioned rooms including a new basement level accommodating two bedrooms and a new mansard top floor which housed the master bedroom suite.
We worked with the developer to finalise the design of the interior and produced a full construction package for the external super structure of the construction works and a separate package for the internal works by a separate contractor.
The high level of design combined with the precision required of working within a tight mews style property required a very detailed package of information which the contractor could take forward and construct. We were able to create a light and airy feel to the property with new feature staircase and to use every opportunity to bring natural daylight into the house
